Bluewaters is a modern, family-oriented island destination that blends waterfront living with urban lifestyle. Being recommended by Meraas we collaborated with developer Mirage to provide and install 96 kitchens in the new SA1 building on the man-made island. Our starting point? The developer had already picked the NCS color of the kitchens, which was a specific shade of grey.
The inviting warmth of timber guarantees its continued reign over kitchens, but it is now stepping away from the totally traditional scene to become a serious contemporary contender. Keller Kitchens leads the way with its modern yet inviting Sutton range. Sporting a tactile textured finish, formed from coarse timber veneer, the Sutton range is almost a slab door, except for one distinctive detail: a single vertical groove that bisects each frontal. Creating a striking feature that looks particularly impressive on a long run of units, this groovy attribute certainly sets Sutton apart from the crowds.
Founded in Holland by Gerard Keller and his brother Henk in 1935, Keller began by making parquet floors before manufacturing its first kitchen in 1946. With a reputation for quality and innovation, Keller Kitchens started exporting to the UK in 1983 and now has over 60 kitchen specialists overseas.
