In the heart of Amsterdam, the monumental buildings on the corner of Koningsplein, Herengracht and Singel, better known as the old location of Scheltema, have been restored. This characteristic complex was in need of renovation. Commissioned by a.s.r. Dutch Prime Retail Fund and in collaboration with Top Vastgoed and FiMek estate, this inner-city redevelopment has been realized.
Architect Rappange’s plan includes both shops and dwellings above. The office spaces are used for retail spaces, so that each unit has impressively high fronts, which do the building justice. In this way space is created for both apartments and shops in the bustling part of Amsterdam.
This project required a prestigious approach, which resulted in 19 stylish Keller Kitchens being chosen. The kitchens each have a dark graphite color with an Easy Clay kitchen top. This fits in perfectly with the design of the reparation. A project we look back on with pride.
