The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are set by the United Nations and intended to make the world a better place by 2030.
They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice.
The SDGs continue where the millennium goals end, they are not only about development, but also about sustainability. The idea behind this initiative is that everyone can contribute to achieving the SDGs by making conscious choices.
Keller links CSR goals to the 17 sustainable goals of the UN
The DKG group, of which Keller is a part, has an ambitious CSR policy. In recent decades, a sustainability strategy has been developed which has resulted in the fact that Keller is at the forefront of sustainable processes and products. The efforts in recent years have led to certifications to the highest standards and many other milestones.
Of course it doesn’t end here. We continue to work on the balance between “People, Planet and Profit” and on new, ambitious goals. One of these ambitions is to link our CSR goals to the 17 sustainable development goals of the UN. This is already happening in many areas, for example, we pay a salary above the CAO level, we work together with the Social Work Facility, we support many charities, and we have a carbon neutral production process. After a number of successful pilots, more and more clients are joining our Circular Kitchen process and we will soon be presenting our green kitchen concept “the kitchen setup of the future”.
Working together on sustainable results
You will be informed shortly , via our account managers and social media channels, about new initiatives and results achieved in the field of sustainability. Because the latter is what it’s all about: results.
Keller stands for beautiful, accessible, personal and alert. These are not just brand values, they guide us in all decisions that we make. Also when it comes to people and the environment. Only in this way can we take care of future generations.
